For immediate release | Sept. 23, 2019
The Village CBD Shoppe celebrates its Grand Opening this Friday and Saturday, Sept. 27-28 at 4632 Parking Street in Downtown Greendale. Festivities begin with a ribbon-cutting at 10:00 a.m. Friday and continue through 4:00 p.m. Sunday. There will be prize giveaways, drawings, free CBD samples and more at the two-day event.
The Greendale store is being managed by Dave Bruno, with help from sons Chris, Paul, and family friend Ron Barbian, who have all lived a majority all of their lives in Greendale. Dave’s wife Marlene helps keep the men organized and runs the books for the family’s two CBD stores. Their stated goal is to help people improve their quality of life and their slogan “Life gets better when you feel better” features prominently on the wall in the Greendale store.
The store offers many varieties of CBD, including Oils, Topicals, and edibles like Chocolate, Honey, and Gummies. They carry national brands Charlotte\’s Web and KOI, as well as their own house brand and products from Wisconsin farms. Co-Owner Chris Bruno said “we ensure all our products that you’re ingesting are 3rd party batch tested to ensure quality, and we’ve found a really solid line of products to help people out”.
Their pharmaceutically formulated transdermal cream is one item the owners believe sets them apart. Paul Bruno calls it \”our special sauce\” and as the word is spreading it is apparently flying off the shelves. “It’s one of our most popular products,” said Bruno. “We use a top of the line transdermal cream at a cost and quality that is almost impossible to find with a company of our size. You won’t find anything at this quality and at this price anywhere else.”
The Village CBD Shoppe will be the second CBD store for brothers Chris and Paul Bruno. Inspired by their mom’s overcoming a 10-year battle with Autoimmune Diseases using CBD, the brothers opened their first store, The CBD Cellar at 5328 W Vliet St. in April. Father Dave Bruno who was a Realtor the last 17 years, and mom Marlene Bruno with 30 years experience as an administrative assistant, are also part of the team.
